What happens when a composer has a deadline for writing a piece, but no inspiration for it?
Does the pressure of time influence the speed and style of composing or the quality of the composition?
Is the deadline a psychological impediment or a boost for creativity?
Can the process of composition transcend time when done in a confined space?
I am going to face all these questions during the two weeks that I have for writing an orchestral piece with live-electronics…
